Privacy Policy
Premium Engrave operates premiumengrave.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when you browse our store, place an order, submit engraving details, or contact us.
For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, email support@premiumengrave.com.
Information we collect
- Order and account information: your name, email address, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number when provided, products selected, order history, and account details if you create an account. We use this information to process orders, arrange delivery, provide order updates, and help with returns or other questions.
- Engraving details and uploaded artwork: the names, messages, handwriting, photographs, signatures, or other files you provide for personalization. These materials may include information about you or another person. We use them to prepare your personalized product and handle order questions. Please provide only material you are authorized to share and that is needed for your order.
- Payment information: payment and transaction details needed to process your chosen payment method, confirm payment status, handle refunds, and prevent fraud. Payment providers process the sensitive payment details entered through their payment forms. Our order records may include transaction references and limited payment-method information; please do not send full card numbers or security codes by email or in engraving fields.
- Customer support information: the messages, attachments, and order details you send us so we can respond to your request.
- Device and usage information: information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, referring pages, and cookie or session identifiers. The store and its service providers use this information to load pages, remember your cart, maintain security, and operate and improve the store.
How we use and share information
We use personal information to sell and personalize products, process payments, deliver orders, communicate with you, maintain records, provide support, and detect or prevent fraud and misuse. If you choose to receive marketing communications, we also use your contact information for that purpose in line with your preferences.
We use WordPress and WooCommerce to operate the store, hosted by Hostinger. Information held in the store is available to the people and service providers who need it to operate the store and fulfill orders. Relevant providers include:
- Hosting: Hostinger provides the infrastructure that stores and serves the website and its order information. See Hostinger’s privacy policy.
- Payments: depending on the payment method offered at checkout and selected by you, Stripe or PayPal receives the information necessary to process the transaction and perform security and fraud checks. Their use of information is described in the Stripe privacy policy and PayPal privacy statement.
- Tax calculation: WooCommerce Tax uses order and address information to calculate applicable taxes. This connected service is provided through Automattic; see its privacy notice for visitors to users’ sites.
- Email: Google email services help us send and receive order and support messages. Those messages contain the information needed to communicate with you. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Delivery: shipping providers receive the recipient and delivery information needed to deliver your order.
We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect our rights. Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live; their policies describe their practices and applicable safeguards.
Cookies and sessions
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The store uses cookies and similar session technology for functions such as remembering cart contents, keeping account sessions, and supporting checkout and security. Which cookies are used depends on the features you use.
WooCommerce cart cookies can include woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart, which last for the browsing session, and a wp_woocommerce_session_ cookie, which normally lasts two days and connects your browser with its cart information. Account and payment services may use additional cookies when you use those features. See WooCommerce’s cookie documentation and the payment-provider policies linked above.
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may prevent the cart, account, or checkout from working correctly.
Retention and your choices
We retain order and related personal information for our records. You can ask us to access, correct, update, or erase the information we hold about you, or request a portable copy, by emailing support@premiumengrave.com. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve an outstanding transaction or dispute.
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or use an authorized agent to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You can contact us about your marketing preferences or use an unsubscribe option included in a marketing message.
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, our processing is based on fulfilling our contract with you, complying with legal obligations, consent where required, and legitimate interests in operating and securing the store that do not override your rights. You may contact us about these rights or raise a concern with the relevant data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, practices, or legal requirements. The current version will be available on this page.
